She helped in the murder of Claudius, when he poisoned him for Nero to be the Emperor.Helped in the murder of herself by falling for the same trick her Husband did. She drank the poisoned water that Nero had poisoned and ordered to give to her when she asked for a drink. She was in the plot to get the Emperor of the Roman Empire by getting Claudius to fall for the trick .The trick was to have Claudius to adopt Nero as his own son, then to murder him so Nero would be the next Emperor of the Roman Empire. Agrippina thought that she would have power to but Nero didn't want her to have power and he didn't like that idea. She was furious and tried to kill him instead he killed her first.
Why should future students learn about this individual?
It will help them to understand the past of the 5th emperor of the Roman Empire. When they read about Nero they will probably want to know how he got to be the Emperor of the Roman Empire when he isn't the real son of Claudius. I would want to know why he was Emperor , when he wasn't really related to Claudius if I hadn't learned about three days ago.
